I live in the pokiest suburb in sydney, with six shops in the entire town, but we have a craft shop. It specialises mostly in patchwork, but has a pretty comprehensive range of everything! I can vouch for Flora Fabrics, also, it is pretty good. also, there is an asian fabric shop called "My Hung" or "Muy Hung"(I'm sorry, I cannot remember), which has branches in Hurstville, Penrith and I think Cabramatta, which is pretty amazing. http://www.julescraftshoppe.com.au/
