I’m thinking of getting a compact digital camera (a companion to my Canon 400D!) and since I haven’t had a compact digital camera in YEARS, there’s a treasure trove of cameras that I’ve yet to try out. My absolute favourites, on the very top of my list are these gorgeous ones -

Canon S90
Not yet released in Australia, this little beauty has been getting some great reviews so far!
With 10 megapixels and 28mm wide-angle f/2.0 lens, this little one has won my heart! The AU$799 price tag isn’t *too* bad, especially compared against my next camera lemming ..

Olympus PEN E-1
If you’re into the old school look – this is your camera! I love the classic look of this digital camera – I feel like I’ve been transported back to the 80′s and I’ve got my dad’s point and shoot hanging around my neck. I love it!
This has 12.3 megapixels and a 17mm f/2.8 lens available, at about AU$1600. Ouch!

I’ve been hankering for a new lens for a while now (and still need to sell the lenses I don’t use anymore) and it’s come down to one -

CANON 28mm f/2.8 Wide Angle Lens

At Discount Digital, it’s only $289 which is definately reachable with my budget, but I’ve promised myself not to get anything new until I get rid of the old!

Anyone want the canon 90-300mm or canon 50mm macro?? lol
